October 2019 in The Sims 4 General Discussion Hi I am wondering if anyone can advise on weather mods that would work quickly when travelling with sims and arriving in worlds where I want to take the kids to the park for example and find its raining or winter. Sims 4 allows you to spawn Sims of many different widths with the Create-a-Sim tool.
You can make up for this a bit by altering the frequency and length of each individual season. So if you want to, you can have an environment with shorter summers and longer winters, or disable certain seasons entirely.
You also get occasional rain showers, thunderstorms and fog rolling in throughout the season. Rain is just awesome in any game but as immersive as the sims can be, it really is fantastic here.
There are unfortunately no disasters relating to weather other than the occasional bolt of lightning frying a tree or a sim. You don’t get any flooding or tornados, not even any power outages.
Every season, you have a different festival, which often takes place in the town center or a nearby large park. Ranking leaves is a thing now, rake the leaves into a pile and you have a new woohoo location.

The season expansion pack finally brings the 4 seasons in the game, but the overall animation of rain is not so good. The mod provides more realistic rain and snow animation. The animation will be available on everyplace in your current lot.
You can also get a viewing interaction when you gaze at the raining. Rainfall and snow can be found in the build mode, under the fish fountain icon.

The mod allows summer holidays for a child, adult, and teen sims. By default, the school holidays system is set to 2%, but you can increase or decrease it in the Addons option. On the holiday, the sims will receive a “holiday buff”.
As long as the buff is activated, your sim will not go to the school. You can remove the buff using a cheat or mod.
