Today, we are announcing the general availability of Office 2019 for Windows and Mac. Office 2019 is the next on-premises version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, Access, and Publisher. The Mac version of the suite comprises Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. Microsoft updated Outlook and OneNote prior to this release, so the latest versions of these two components.
These are all the most up-to-date versions of the software which normally costs £79.99/$99.99 per year for the Home version that entitles users to share the apps with up to six people or £59.99. Open any Office application, such as Word or Excel, and select Account. Note: If you don't see Account or you already have a file or document open, choose File from the menu, and then select either Account or Help from the list on the left. Under Product Information, you'll find your Office product name and, in some cases, the full version number.

The current version of Office I have installed is Office for Mac 2011, which works with versions up to macOS Sierra. But this version is not supported on Macs using macOS High Sierra, Mojave, or new versions.
