So far, none of the responses actually provide details about how to get a program that allows you to view SPSS output files (not data files), so I'm posting instructions for that even though the question was asked a while ago. IBM does make a free program for viewing SPSS output files (.spv files), called SmartReader. If I have an SPSS.sav file, can I convert it Excel? I was given data in a.sav file, but I do not yet have SPSS on my computer. I'd like to open the file in EXCEL.
